An ongoing technical partnership, eight projects and counting.
Gev wanted a technical partner he could trust with his clients, and keep working with. Since mid-2025, I’ve carried the technical side across eight projects together.
The brief
Gev runs an independent design practice. By 2025, some of his client work needed more than Webflow and Framer sites could support.
The need was not simply another developer for a single project. It was someone Gev could vouch for as his CTO, who would carry the technical work end to end and stay involved.
What I did
Worked as one team
Gev leads the design relationship; I carry the technical side. Together we can take work beyond showcase sites into the systems behind them.
Inflection Summit and Capston were the first projects on our new stack. Peerly took the partnership into a full admin platform. We have also worked together on Tightrope, Aetonix and Juggle, and on this site.
Design work for Estate Kit
The collaboration also included onboarding, sharing and permissions work for Estate Kit while I was its interim CTO. It was a scoped design engagement inside a larger technical rebuild.
Result
8
Projects together
In a little over a year.
Eight projects so far, from websites to platforms.
Across eight projects, the relationship has grown from websites into platforms and product work. Gev’s clients get a technical partner he already knows, and the work has continuity beyond the initial build.
What they said
“Martin brings the judgment you need before you write the code. He helps you build the right thing, not just build it faster.”
