Two websites, built and launched on the same date.
Capston planned to introduce the company at the Inflection Summit on 29 April. That meant two builds, with different jobs, ready for the same immovable date.
The brief
Gev brought me into a launch with two distinct needs. Capston needed a carefully implemented company showcase. The summit needed registration, email and an AI voice interview to support applicant vetting.
What I did
Built the event platform
I built the Inflection Summit site's registration flow, email and the AI voice interview that every applicant went through as part of vetting for a seat.
With design complete, the event platform was built between 3 and 7 April.
Built the company site
I hand-built the Capston showcase pages to match the design and used Keystatic for the Field Notes writing. The company site was built from 14 to 29 April.
Set up safe content updates
I added Claude skills to the Capston repository so the team could propose copy and asset changes through pull requests, with guardrails against structural changes. I then worked with the Capston team to get both sites hosted and live.
Result
29 Apr
Both sites live on launch day
2026. The event platform took five days of build after design; the company site took about two weeks.
Both sites went live on 29 April.
Both sites were live for 29 April. The company had its showcase, and the summit had the platform supporting registration and applicant vetting.
The build timelines begin after design was complete. Gev led the design partnership; I carried the technical delivery.
